Master Cruise Counsellor,  All-Inclusive Specialist, Alaska Specialist, Disney Graduate, Sandals Certified, Certified Autism Travel Professional

Pat grew up in a small town on the Ontario/Quebec border and moved to Lindsay after completing her degree at St. Lawrence college to be with her husband, Bill. Her love of the outdoors was fostered through vacations as a child which were spent exploring what mother nature had to offer - she has canoed most of the waterways of Algonquin Park and skated the Rideau canal in Ottawa numerous times.  She loves the different seasons that living in Ontario brings but especially loves the winter and the snow.

Watching the "Wonderful World of Disney" on TV every Sunday night was a family tradition and she promised herself that she would get there one day.   That dream was realized many years ago when she visited Walt Disney World in Florida with her family - the twenty-one hour drive was an adventure in itself with four kids. They returned many times since, enjoying all the resort has to offer during different seasons and are Disney Vacation Club members.   One December, Pat and her daughter visited Walt Disney World once again, this time to see it all decorated for Christmas.

Cruising became an extension of their love of Disney with her first Disney cruise - her first ever cruise - in 2010.  A Disney enthusiast, Pat loved this new travel experience so much that she has cruised to the Eastern and Western Caribbean on all four of the Disney ships.

Pat has taken courses that now qualify her as a Certified Autism Travel Professional so that she is able to help families with these special needs children book suitable vacations.

Pat's cruises include:

  • A 15-day Panama Canal cruise on the Norwegian Bliss from Miami to Los Angeles with a post cruise stay at Disneyland California
  • Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas (twice)
  • A 'bucket list' trip of a lifetime on a 15-night "Kenai Explorer cruise/land tour which included 3 nights in Fairbanks, 2 nights in Denali, 1 night in Mt. McKinley and 3 nights in the Kenai Peninsula, followed by a 7-night cruise on the Coral Princess, ending in Vancouver.
  • Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas
  • Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas
  • Disney Magic
  • Disney Fantasy
  • Disney Dream
  • Disney Wonder
  • Royal Caribbean's Monarch of the Seas

Pat has been to Fort Lauderdale to attend a cruise convention sponsored by the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).   There she attended workshops, destination seminars, and a trade show to meet some of the requirements for her Master Cruise Counsellor designation.  She also toured and had lunch on the Holland America Zuiderdam and the Norwegian Escape.  Since Pat and her husband drove, they were able to spend some time at Disney and she also checked out Hilton Head, known as a great golfing destination.

Pat has been to all-inclusive resorts in Cuba and Jamaica, most recently to Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica, her second trip to this resort.  She received a behind the scenes tour and also did a site visit for Sandals, Ocho Rios.

Pat loves lazy beach days at the cruise lines’ private islands but has also enjoyed excursions to Dunn’s River Falls, swimming with the dolphins, Segway tours, submarine rides, biking tours and running the 5K on Disney’s Castaway Cay Island.

After working in various areas of the medical field for the past twenty-five years, Pat decided she needed a change of pace to focus on something that she is passionate about - traveling and helping people plan their vacations.
