Cruises, All Inclusive Resorts, Disney

I was in nursing before I became a travel professional, and I’ve found that the same care and attention to detail that’s so important in nursing is essential in travel, too. I enjoy taking care of small details that most people wouldn’t even think of!

When I travel, I love the ease of an all-inclusive resort, and the awe and excitement  of a cruise . Disney vacations are a favorite!  I’m happy to say that my family and I have been to Walt Disney World Resort many times, in every season.

Cruising is another way to enjoy the incomparable magic of Disney, and I’ve been on all of Disney Cruise Line’s wonderful ships. It’s fun to share the excitement and give clients first-hand knowledge of all kinds of Disney vacations.

Although I love all things Disney, I have also cruised on several Royal Caribbean ships and love the variety of activities that are offered onboard - their ships are destinations unto themselves.  Speaking of destinations I have crossed several off my bucket list including hosting a 15 day Alaska Land and Sea with Princess and the New Panama Canal on the Norwegian Bliss.  I have just returned from another great cruise on the Disney Fantasy which was a Pixar Cruise. I also checked out some of the new features at Disney World.   Including the many changes to Disney Genie, Genie+ and Lightening Lane. More changes are coming with Disney so I have another cruise booked for next Jan.  As well as a Hawaii cruise with Norwegian - date to be determined.

Now that our children are older, we find that all-inclusive beach resorts in the Caribbean are great places to reconnect and have fun, too. For families that want to relax and play together, Beaches Resorts are terrific;  for couples, Sandals Resorts provide a romantic retreat.  Having visited many all-inclusive resorts, Sandals is still my personal favourite and my goal is to eventually vacation at all the Sandals resorts!

I’m so happy that my life-long love of planning family vacations has turned into my career. As Walt Disney said, “All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.” Call me to make your travel dreams come true!
